Mentoring Solutions are needed by writers to reduce frustration and re-writes, and produce desired outcomes faster. This is why Dr. William A. Gray offers Writing Workshops in which he teaches participants how to use his 4 Mentoring Styles and 6-Step Mentoring Process to mentor one another. He draws on his experience writing many academic articles and two books published in conventional ways, writing two eBooks on mentoring described elsewhere on this website, and writing Why Become a Christian? A Spiritual Memoir.
The Poster outlines some of the topics for two Writing Workshops (each is 3 hours).
In both Workshops, participants:
> apply what is taught, so usable knowledge and skills are learned and writing takes place.
> mentor one another, so they experience the value of this and continue afterwards.
Workshop #1 helps writers answer six questions in Gray's Basic Writing Components Model, and align answers to Why write? What? Who for? and How? Executing answers to When to write and Where are essential for finishing what you start.
Workshop #2 focuses on How to write so you progress to completion.
